Requirements:

Responsibilities:
- Coverage: 24-hour shifts, 7 AM to 7 AM (Hospital: 7 AM - 5 PM, Call: 5 PM - 7 AM)
- Duties:
- Attend high-risk deliveries (including C-sections)
- Round on nursery, Level II NICU, and pediatric floor patients
- Supervise circumcisions with residents
- Triage pediatric calls and attend to decompensating or emergency cases
- Handle ED consults and transfers as needed
- Patient Load: Average 6 nursery, 2 Level II NICU, and 2-3 floor patients daily
- On-Call: 30-minute response time, with an average of 2 admissions per call
- Work Solo: Yes, no APP/mid-level coverage
- Travel: Mileage, airfare, lodging, rental car, and fuel covered
Additional Details:
- EMR: Cerner and Epic
- Privileges: Full privileges (90 days to credential)
- Trauma Level: III
- Weekend Shift: 7 AM Friday to 7 AM Monday, 1 weekend per month required
- Provider Schedule: 3x 24-hour shifts per month (flexible, including weekends)
- Average Call Volume: 5-10 outpatient calls (on average)
- Other Specialties Onsite: ENT, Ortho trauma, Acute Care Surgery

- Travel Coverage: Mileage, Airfare, Lodging, and Ground Transportation provided.
