Pediatric Hospitalist Needed at Northern California Hospital
Our coastal California Hospital is seeking an experienced Hospitalist for ongoing shift coverage.
Schedule:
- 24-hour shifts 7a-7a
- 1-5 shifts per month
Practice Setting:
- Hospital in Northern California
- Volume of Patients: 1 - 2 admissions from the ER, no newborn rounding, just addressing issues for any acute problems
- Procedures; Some but rarely lumbar punctures
- Patients: low blood sugars, tachypnea, fevers. Newborn to the age of 18
- There is a dedicated ER code team that will respond to codes
- EMR: EPIC
Cases and Procedures:
- Will do 1 to 2 admits per night, no ICU needed
- They have specialty backup available and an ER code Team on-site
Travel Accomadations:
