Locums – Cadillac, Michigan, Pediatrics Hospitalist Opening Clinical Role:

• • Looking for a Pediatrician to take newborn nursey call starting in November as well as Christmas coverage
  • Dec. 5,6,11,12,23-30
  • Jan. 23-24
  • EMR is the same as the Grayling nursery
  • 24-hour call
  • Avg Patients per day 3-4
  • No inpatient pediatrics other than newborns in the nursery (0-5 per day). Yes, however they will need to round on any babies that have been readmitted at less than 30 days of age for hyperbilirubinemia and failure to thrive.
  • Number of deliveries a year: 350-400
  • Level I nursery with a Level II L/D
  • LDRP unit, so the babies stay with their moms. Our nursery is Sick/Transitional only and can house up to 3 transitional newborns
  • Possibility of newborn nursery call
  • Board Certified – Required
  • Active MI License – Required
  • NRP, PALS – Required
  • Currently participates in MI Medicaid/CHAMPS – Required
