A facility we are partnered with in the Athens, Ohio area is seeking a Newborn Hospitalist to join their healthcare team - one of the most highly-respected teams in the region. The Athens area is also consistently rated as one of the best places to live in Ohio!

Job Description:
  • Newborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists.
  • The team will consist of 3 Pediatric Hospitalists 24/7 on-call coverage -- round and go model with call from home.
  • Pediatric Hospitalists will perform circumcisions.
Eligibility:
  • Accepting new graduate candidates.
  • Not accepting Locums candidates.
  • Not accepting visa candidates.
  • Not open to commuters and/or those looking for secondary employment.
Pediatric Consultations: Provide expert pediatric consultations to the emergency department, offering timely assessments, recommendations, and treatment plans for pediatric patients.

Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with a team of pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

Knowledge Exchange: Take advantage of the opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices with a large network of providers, including over 400 NICUs and several thousand providers.

Requirements:
