JOB DESCRIPTION:
Medical center in Pennsylvania seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join the team. NICU, live birth, ED and neonatal care experience required. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package offered.
Job Description:
Provide inpatient medical care to hospitalized children of all ages and with a variety of conditions
Perform physical examinations and assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop and implement treatment plans
Monitor patients' condition and progress, and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
Communicate and coordinate care with other physicians, nurses, and members of the healthcare team
Provide education and support to patients and their families
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects
Work Shift: 17, 24-hour shifts/holidays/weekends
