Medstaff is assisting with Pediatric Hospitalist coverage for a client located in Northeastern North Carolina
- Looking for a board certified Pediatric Hospitalist physician with recent pediatric hospitalist experience
- 7am August 1 through 7am August 5th, Inpatient only
- Required to come in daily for rounding and then will be on call (off site, within 30 minutes of facility)
- 10 bed pediatric unit: Average inpatient census is 5 per day; 2 per provider and about 2 admissions per day
- Respond to codes and may have to see patients in the ED and admit pediatric patients
- Will cover the new born nursery, scheduled C-sections and deliveries
- EMR is EPIC
- Requires Board Certification, NC license, NC DEA, BLS, PALS, NRP and some hospitalist experience
