Excellent opportunity for a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our expanding team of Hospital Care Physicians.
Ideal candidates should be board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatrics. The full team will consist of 4 Pediatric Hospitalists and 1 Nurse Practitioner.

Opportunity Highlights
· Work 182 shifts per year. Average of seven or eight 10-hour day shifts and seven or eight 14-hour night shifts per month. Will be about 7 on 7 off but will be adjustable and flexible based on the scheduling needs.
· Responsible for rounding on pediatric inpatients, Level 2 nursery & newborns

· REQUIRED PROCEDURES WITH RECENT EXPERIENCE: Neonatal Resuscitation, Intubation, Lumbar Puncture, Circumcision (on-site training available) Emergency Needle Thoracentesis, Umbilical Lines, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, IV fluids, tube feedings, antibiotics
· REQUIRED: NRP and PALS certified
· Level II Nursery. 1-3 patient average
· Pediatric Unit. 1-3 patient average. 4-6 average during busy season.
· Emergency Department Consults.
· Level I and II Nursery. The average number of births per year is 1,300.
· EPIC EMR
· Must be in house

Hospitalist's work as partners with our primary care physicians. In addition, Physician Liaisons provide support with marketing and new patient referrals.
