Locum Pediatric Hospitalist *120457: Southern, Maine Needed: 1-2 Job Setting: Hospital Program Model: FT physicians & per diems (plus support from OBs, midwives, anesthesia, EM & FP physicians) Trauma Level: Level II NICU EMR: SMR Active state license/IMLC is a huge plus (ME has a quick licensing process) Start Date: ASAP Coverage: 3 mo w option to extend Schedule: 5-10 12hr shifts/mo, mostly nights (flexible) Certification requirements: BC Pediatrics, ME DEA, NRP, PALS, BLS Credentialing: 8-10 weeks (temps may be avail) Patients per day/volume: average of 5-7 patients per day with 2-3 discharges and 2-3 deliveries No call Background: must be able to resuscitate a newborn, including intubation and umbilical line placement. Will be caring for newborns (including well-newborns, Level II NICU, and delivery attendance), pediatric inpatients, and emergency department consults Never worry about your travel accommodations again!
