This is a clinical position for an MD/DO who has specialized in Pediatrics to work in the hospital setting as a hospitalist.

About this role.

As a Pediatric Hospitalist Physician, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.  In this role you will provide pediatric inpatient care at St. George Regional Hospital, a 336-bed level II trauma center.

This position includes a $15,000 sign-on bonus, and up to $20,000 in relocation assistance.

  • You will practice at St. George Regional Hospital in St. George, Utah.
  • Your schedule will include 13 – 15 12-hour shifts per month and primarily daytime hours with occasional night shifts.
  • You’ll have APP coverage for nighttime shifts.
  • You’ll see a variety of pediatric patients in our dedicated 12-bed pediatric unit, as well as ED consults and well baby consults.
  • You’ll be supported by dedicated pediatric RNs, Social Workers, Lactation Consultants, and Telehealth physicians.

Requirements of this role:

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • Residency training in Pediatrics
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics
  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
