- More dates to be added as facility builds it’s schedule out
Candidate Requirements
- Must have active NC licensure
- Minimum Board Status: Board Eligible
- Required Certifications: PALS and NRP
Job Details
- Census:2-6 patients per shift
- 10 beds in the department
- Admissions required
- Call Details: 24/hr Beeper Call
- 30 minute response time
- Callback%: 10%
- Phone Consults: 7-10
- Patients Seen: 2-6
- Admissions: 1-3
- Required Procedures: Non-Invasive Vent Management, Vent Management (Newborns), Intubation (Newborns), UVC, UAC
- Credentialing Timeframe: 7-10 days (Temp Privileges Available)
- Level II NICU (Facility does not keep any babies under 35 weeks)
- Delivery presence needed for those deemed high risk or when OB needs additional support
- Starting umbilical lines and intubation assistance could be needed (Respiratory and Anesthesia support on-site for backup support)
- Sick babies are transferred out, but support is needed until transport teams arrive
- No inpatient pediatrics needs outside of the nursery area
Compensation for this opportunity is highly competitive at $1800/shift and $175/hr for callback (After 2 hours gratis)
