  • Other Details: The shift is standard, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with no block schedules. The clinic operates Monday through Friday with no weekend clinic, although weekend call is required. Call expectations vary from 7-14 days per month, including 24-hour inpatient consults and urgent outpatient questions. Clinic days will cover any inpatient consults or urgent outpatient inquiries for providers not currently in the clinic. The practice setting is pediatrics, treating patients from neonates to adolescents, with an average daily census of 10-12 patients, including a mix of new and follow-up visits. The provider will treat conditions such as adrenal gland issues, diabetes, growth problems, lipid disorders, obesity, and thyroid conditions, with 60 minutes allocated for new patients and 30 minutes for follow-ups. There are opportunities for collaboration with pediatric specialists in neurology, genetics, surgery, gastroenterology, pulmonology, complex care, NICU aftercare, and development and behavior. The practice is supported by RNs, CMAs, another full-time and part-time physician, and an NP. Orientation and all hours are billable.
