Job Description

Last Update: 2/26/25
Details & requirements for this opportunity:
  • Specialty: Pediatric Emergency Medicine
  • Requirement: Physician (MD/DO)
  • Location: Missouri
  • Job Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient
  • Coverage Required: 4/1/2025 - Ongoing
  • Schedule: On-site clinical hours only
  • Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
  • License: None
  • EMR: Epic
  • Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible
  • Other Details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 1 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours only. There are an average of 14-18 patients per shift. THe facility opens bids with or without an active MO license; however, providers without an active MO license must have a clean record and be already credentialed with your agency for a fast turnaround. A PEM fellowship-trained locum is preferred, but we will consider a board-certified pediatrician with ED experience, including trauma, procedural sedation, airway management, and procedures. If PEM-trained, only PALS certification is required; otherwise, PALS and ATLS are required. Shifts are 9 hours, primarily evenings/nights, with a need for coverage of 4-5 shifts per month from 4 PM to 1 AM. Providers with a MO license who can cover those dates will be prioritized.
