A leading healthcare provider in Texas is currently seeking a Pediatric Physician - Emergency Medicine to join their dedicated team at a state-of-the-art facility.

About the Opportunity:

  • Location: Edinburg, TX
  • Duration: 02/03/2025 - 08/29/2025 (Coverage role)
  • Schedule: Flexible, no on-call duties
  • Setting: Pediatric Emergency Department

Responsibilities:
The Pediatric Physician - Emergency Medicine will be responsible for:

  • Delivering exceptional emergency care to pediatric patients.
  • Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintaining up-to-date documentation in EMR (EPIC preferred).
  • Ensuring compliance with trauma, stroke, and chest pain standards through ongoing education and application.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years in Emergency Medicine.
  • Education: Residency-trained in Pediatrics or Pediatric Subspecialty.
  • Certifications:
    • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics or Pediatric Subspecialty.
    • Certified in AHA-approved ACLS, ATLS, NRP, and PALS.
  • Licensure: Active Texas State Medical License, CDS, and DEA.
  • Continuing Education:
    • 9 hours of Trauma CME annually.
    • 9 hours of Stroke CME annually.
    • 10 hours of Chest CME annually.
  • Health Requirements: TB and Flu vaccinations annually.
