- Other Details: The facility, which is stroke-certified, and trauma level 1, is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours only. PEM fellowship trained locum preferred would consider a board-certified pediatrician with ED experience (needs to have experience with trauma, procedural sedation, airway management, procedures, etc.). If PEM, only PALS certification is required. If not PEM, PALS, and ATLS required. 9-hour shifts- primarily evening/nights; would like coverage for 15 shifts a month. Shift time 4p-1a. Dates coverage are January 2 - 7, 13 - 18, February 3 - 7, 13 - 17, March 3 - 7, 13 - 18, and April 3 - 8, 13 - 18. There's an average of 14-18 patients per shift and 13 rooms, plus 3 hall beds in the department.
