St. David's Children's Hospital is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible pediatric emergency medicine (PEM) physician to join our dedicated team in Austin, Texas. St. David's Children's Hospital is a dedicated pediatric facility within St. David's North Austin Medical Center, a multispecialty hospital with more than 360 beds.

Our pediatric emergency department features
  • 10-bed dedicated pediatric ED with child-friendly, specialized care
  • 25,000 annual ED visits with an average of less than 2 patients per clinical hour
  • Experienced advanced practice clinician coverage to support efficiency and patient care
  • A comprehensive pediatric specialist network, including cardiology, surgery, ENT, gastroenterology, orthopedics, neurology, and urology
  • Pediatric-trained radiologists with advanced interventional capabilities
  • Support from child life specialists, pediatric hospitalists, and intensivists to ensure comprehensive patient care

Position Requirements
  • MD or DO with board certification/eligibility in PEM
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based pediatric emergency care
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in a team-based environment
