Clinical Role:

- ASAP – Ongoing Need
- 9-hour shifts- primarily evening/nights; would like coverage for 15 shifts a month
- Shift time 4p-1a
- 2 Providers Requested
- Hospital Stroke Certified
- 14-18 Patients Per Shift
- 13 Rooms, plus 3 hall beds
- Will accept Pediatric Hospitalist with experience trauma, procedural sedation, airway management, procedures, etc.
- There will always be a physician working who will manage the higher acuity. We are not a pediatric trauma center and if do need help the adult trauma team can help stabilize
- Skills Required:
- Non-invasive vent management (bipap/cpap)
- Ventilation management (pediatric)
- PEM fellowship trained locum preferred, would consider board-certified pediatrician with ED experience needs to have experience with trauma, procedural sedation, airway management, procedures, etc
- If PEM, only PALS certification is required. If not PEM, PALS and ATLS required
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Required
- Active MO License Required
- Trauma Level I
- EMR: Epic
