Texas Children's Hospital – Houston seeks pediatric emergency medicine (PEM) physicians to provide patient care in the Emergency Center in The Woodlands, North Houston TX.
Position Highlights:
•Experience working in a pediatric medical center or specialty care unit that serves complex pediatric cases.
•Clinical duties for PEM physicians are to evaluate, diagnose, manage, consult, and treat all patients who seek care in the Texas Children's Emergency Centers for any problem or complaint.
•Core privileges include the performance of high stakes and other procedures commonly performed or needing to be performed urgently or emergently
Qualifications:
• Applicants must have an M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree and be Board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
•The selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain or hold an active Texas medical license.
•Graduated from an accredited Pediatrics/Emergency Medicine Residency and has completed a (PEM) Fellowship
