Pediatric Emergency Medicine - Leadership Position
Affiliated with large academic center and growing healthcare network
* Dedicated Pediatric Hospital looking for a dynamic leader to expand and lead Pediatric Emergency Medicine Department
* Candidate will take the lead in developing the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Department for the Pediatric Hospital
* Pediatric Hospital has 35 Full Time Physicians with Full Complement of Pediatric Sub-Specialists
* $30 Million Pediatric Hospital with a 36 bed Level III NICU, a 25-bed General Pediatrics Inpatient Unit, a 10-bed PICU and a Neonatal Therapeutic Unit. The Emergency Department was recently remodeled with the creation of a separate 8-bed pod and waiting area for pediatric emergency patients. The ED averages 11,000 pediatric patients per year serving a 29 county area
* Medical School offers training in 10 residency and 14 fellowship programs with over 250 residents / fellows on campus working alongside 400 providers in 75 areas of primary and specialty care
* Residency programs in both Pediatrics and Internal Medicine/ Pediatrics and fellowship programs in Pediatric Hospital Medicine and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
* 750 plus bed healthcare network includes two teaching hospitals and a Pediatric hospital committed to improving the health of over 1 million children and adults
