The Department of Pediatrics of Wake Forest School of Medicine invites you to consider a unique academic and clinical care opportunity to join our growing Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics Section. We are seeking a Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrician or a Neuro-Developmental Pediatrician in beautiful northwest North Carolina.
The Section on Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics consists of (3) Developmental Behavioral Pediatricians, (4) Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, (1) Psychiatric Physician Assistant, (3) Pediatric Psychologists, (1) Clinical Psychologist, (1) LCSW, and a Nurse Navigator all working closely with support staff, including the onsite Therapeutic Day Program (TDP) and Children’s Developmental Services Agency (CDSA). TDP’s onsite mental health partial day program services include Educational Therapy, Music Therapy, Recreational Therapy, and an embedded psychologist, serving our most behaviorally challenged patients. The CDSA employs Occupational and Physical Therapists, speech therapists, service coordinators, audiologists, and psychologists to serve our Birth to Three population with Early Intervention Services.
Physicians in this role will provide clinical care with the evaluation and management of children with a wide range of developmental and behavioral problems, including but not limited to Developmental/Intellectual disabilities, Autism, genetic syndromes, complex ADHD, Cerebral Palsy and other physical disabilities, etc. All academic ranks will be considered.

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- MD/DO degree
- BC/BE in Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics and/or NeuroDevelopmental Disabiiities
- North Carolina licensure or eligible
