The Department of Developmental Pediatrics at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas is seeking

Job Responsibilities
• Provide contribution related to program growth, support quality and safety, drive and maintain
clinical excellence and innovation, and serve at a clinical physician capacity within the division.
• Provide subspecialty Developmental-Behavioral consultations to infants, children, and adolescents
referred to the Meyer Center for Developmental Pediatrics & Autism.
• Participation in Academic support, mentoring and teaching residents and fellows at the TCH
affiliate; Baylor College of Medicine.
• Opportunities to participate in academic research efforts related to Developmental-Behavioral
studies.
• Multiple outpatient opportunities are available throughout our Houston, TX network of facilities.
Qualifications
pediatric cases.
• Be well versed in an outpatient setting(s) as it related to complex Developmental-Behavioral
Pediatrics patient panel.
• An academic record consistent with appointment as an assistant level or associate professor is
desired given TCH’s affiliation with Baylor. However, this is NOT required for this position.
• The ideal candidate will have a history of participation in research and the featured author in
publications reflective of their specialty and focus.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics background, be
comfortable contributing to a multidisciplinary team, and share the group’s passion for treating
medical/psychosocial aspects of children’s and adolescents’ developmental and behavioral
problems.
• Applicants must have an M.D., or D.O. or equivalent degree
• The selected candidate for the position must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active Texas
medical license.
