Job Summary:
The Pediatric Cardiologists of North Texas at Medical City Children’s Hospital in Dallas, TX, are seeking a pediatric cardiologist to join their expanding team.Qualified Candidates:
- Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology through the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP)
- Unrestricted medical license in Texas
- Must see patients in an outpatient and inpatient setting
- Strong collaboration skills to work within a multidisciplinary team, including cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and other specialists

- 254 bed pediatric hospital with the largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in North Texas
- 108-bed Level IV NICU, regionalized care model with 9 Medical City Healthcare affiliated NICUs
- The Heart Center at Medical City Children’s Hospital was re-established in 2019 and prides itself on excellent patient care and outcomes. There are 2 congenital heart surgeons who performed 173 index cases in 2023, and publicly report their surgical outcomes.
- Medical City Dallas the only hospital in North Texas with both a full-service children's hospital and obstetric hospital within the same facility
- The Medical City Children’s Cardiology Specialists currently has 11 physicians including 3 interventional cardiologists, 1 electrophysiologist, 3 advanced imaging physicians who perform fetal echocardiography, cardiac MRI and cardiac CT, and 4 outreach cardiologists who will join us in August 2024.
- Additionally, there are 5 outreach pediatric cardiologists who provide outpatient cardiology services and perform fetal echocardiograms with Heart Center for Children and Pediatric Cardiology of North Texas who are part of the Heart Center. The cardiac ICU is staffed by 6 trained cardiac intensivists and 9 advanced practice providers.
- Our new Heart Center is currently under construction and will be completed in early 2026. The Heart Center will include 24 dedicated cardiac ICU beds, 12 bed cardiac step-down unit, 2 brand new state of the art cardiac catheterization laboratories, new electrophysiology suite with advanced 3D mapping which allows us to perform electrophysiology studies and ablations with minimal or no radiation exposure, and 2 cardiac operating rooms, one of which will be a hybrid suite.
