Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Cardiology Pediatric job in Tacoma, WA paying $290/hour - $320/hour.
Position Overview
- Specialty: Cardiologist (Echo, On Call)
- Contract Length: At least 6 months (Temp-to-Perm option available)
- Start Date: 1/6/2025
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- On Call Requirements: 24-hour call (including nights and weekends)
- Coverage: 5 days per week, at least one full week per month
- Call Frequency: Nights and weekend call, including clinic and ED coverage
- Shift Type: Day, Weekend
Facility Details
- Facility Type: Children’s Hospital
- Location: Tacoma, WA
- Trauma Level: Level I
Work Requirements
- Patient Coverage:
- Clinic (multiple locations)
- On-site hospital consultation (1-2 locations)
- Remote reads (Echos, EKGs, Holter monitors, etc.)
- ECMO support (1 location)
- Special Skills: Must be comfortable with pediatric cardiology, including remote reading of diagnostic studies (Echos, EKGs, Holter monitors).
- Call Details:
- 24-Hour Call including weekends (clinic, ED, transfer center)
- Night Call & Weekend Call: $400/night
- 24-Hour Call: $2000/day
- Call Back: $465/hour
