Riley Hospital for Children and Indiana University School of Medicine are seeking a board certified/eligible adolescent medicine physician to provide patient care and serve as a clinical educator. Enjoy being part of a larger, multidisciplinary practice as the adolescent medicine team routinely works with other Riley specialties, including cardiology, hematology, oncology, child development, diabetes, endocrinology, and pediatric/adolescent gynecology.

The Charis Center for Eating Disorders is Indiana's most comprehensive treatment facility for children, adolescents and adults. We have been helping individuals and families with eating disorders such as anorexia, bulimia, binge eating and avoidant restrictive food intake disorder since 2003. We offer multiple levels of care, including outpatient, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs. We also offer various types of psychotherapy, such as individual, group and family therapy.

Being one of nine HRSA Leadership Education in Adolescent Health (LEAH) funded programs, we also help educate and train interdisciplinary students at all levels of their post graduate and graduate trainings.

Position Details:

  • Work-life balance with a standard schedule of Monday-Friday outpatient practice at the Riley Pediatric Care Center
  • Consult services during shared call coverage at Riley Hospital for Children
  • Provide specialized care based on interests, including but not limited to:
    • Charis Center for Eating Disorders - the state's most comprehensive program offering the full array of medical, psychological and family services for patients with eating disorders
    • Riley Gender Health Program - the only program in Indiana to meet the needs of transgender and gender non-binary children and adolescents
    • Adolescent Gynecology & Reproductive Healthcare - our specialists evaluate and treat a variety of gynecological conditions as well as consulting with patients and families about fertility preservation for adolescents with complex illnesses
