Position Description

Faculty members will develop meaningful relationships with students for academic, career, and personal advising. All faculty members contribute to the department and college through active participation on committees and other activities of the institution.

This position is located in Suwanee, GA on the PCOM Georgia Campus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • The ideal candidate will have evidence of excellence in teaching all areas of Pathology.
  • Experience in systems-based, case-based, team-based or problem-based learning as well as scholarship in medical education enhance one's application.
  • Opportunities are available for educational or biomedical research and collaboration.
  • Ability to collaborate with other professionals in the delivery of curriculum is essential.

Position Requirements

*Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a criminal background check.

Education:

  • A Ph.D., M.D. or D.O. degree is required.
  • DVM accepted.

Experience:

  • Three (3) years of teaching experience required, preferably in medical education
  • Higher consideration is given to applicants with experience with systems-based, case-based, team-based or problem- based learning as well as scholarship in medical education.

  • None
