**Position: Clinical Pathologist**
- **Location:** Plattsburgh, NY - Albany 160m; Montpelier, VT 70m
- Full-time, permanent position
**Job Summary:**
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Health Network is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Pathologist to join its Community Practice Pathology Division. The successful candidate will provide state-of-the-art anatomic and clinical pathology services in Plattsburgh, NY, with potential diagnostic pathology in Burlington, VT.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide high-quality diagnostic anatomic and clinical pathology services at CVPH.
- Collaborate with a 3-member pathology team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Option to serve as **CLIA Medical Director** at Hospital for qualified candidates with laboratory management experience and demonstrated leadership skills.
- Foster teamwork and engagement within the pathology team and healthcare environment.
**Qualifications:**
- **Required:**
- Board-Eligible or Board-Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in New York State.
- Obtain appropriate New York State Certificate(s) of Qualification as required.
- **Preferred:**
- Fellowship training in Surgical Pathology or a subspecialty with board certification.
- Previous experience as a pathologist in a community practice setting.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering collaboration.
**Optional Responsibilities:**
- Opportunity to work part-time in diagnostic anatomic pathology at Medical Center, offering a mix of community and academic practice experience.
