- One week per month
Schedule & Shifts:
- Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Weekend/Night call coverage (Call Ratio: 1:2)
Practice Setting:
- Hospital-based
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Lab: Blood bank and hematology, focusing on resolving difficult antibodies and reviewing blood smears.
- Supervision: The locum will supervise histotechnologists, pathology assistants, and cytotechnologists.
- Procedures: Includes surgical pathology, GI pathology, GU pathology, dermatopathology, cytology, and autopsy. The provider must also attend fine needle aspiration procedures and give immediate adequacy statements.

- No grossing of specimens or cutting of frozen sections is required.

Required Qualifications:
- Board Certification in Pathology (required)
- IA License (or willingness to obtain)
