Located in the Detroit metropolitan area
**Position Details**
- Specialty: Hematopathology
- Practice Type: Full-time, hospital-employed position based at the Royal Oak campus
- Clinical Scope:
- Responsibilities include bone marrow, peripheral blood, lymph node, flow cytometry, and coagulation sign-out
- Supported by on-site flow cytometry, cytogenetics, and molecular laboratories
- Annual Volume:
- Approximately 2,000 bone marrow specimens
- 45,000 surgical accessions
- 70,000 PAP smears
- 8,000 non-gyn cytology/FNA accessions
- Academic Involvement:
- Faculty appointment through Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, commensurate with experience
- Active pathology residency program (3 positions per year) and fellowships in cytopathology, hematopathology, clinical chemistry, and blood banking

- Board Certified in Hematopathology
- 3-5 years of hematopathology experience preferred
