Position Overview: Anatomical & Clinical Pathologist - Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida - Full-time, permanent position - Employed - Group practice A multi-specialty medical group is seeking a full-time Anatomical & Clinical Pathologist to join a collaborative team of five pathologists. The successful candidate will provide high-quality diagnostic services across various subspecialties, including surgical pathology, cytopathology, and clinical pathology. Position Highlights - Diagnostic Services: Perform diagnostic evaluations on approximately 10,000 surgical cases and over 1.3 million billable tests annually. - Collaboration: Participate in weekly multi-disciplinary meetings such as the Breast Conference and Tumor Board with other medical group members. - Mentorship: Provide support and mentoring for University of Miami Transitional Year Residents. - Call Rotation: Cover evening, weekend, and holiday calls on a rotational basis. Requirements: - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree. - Completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Pathology residency program. - Board Certification in Anatomical and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) through the American Board of Pathology. - Current or ability to obtain Florida medical licensure.
