MedExcellence is working with a hospital in Indio, CA in need of a Pathologist for a locum assignment beginning in January 2025 and running for 3 months. The hours would be 8-5, M-F. It is inpatient only.

Must be BC and hold an active CA license.

Job Responsibilities

This is a solo practice, grossing is required. The daily volume is 10-15 cases, heavy on the
small GI biopsies. Notable GYN path, Approximately 1 cancer case per week. After hours
call is very rare. Weekend call is non existent. Consulting pathologists are at the sister
hospital about 45 min away with available courier service. Sister hospital, Desert Regional
Medical Center offers regular tumors bords and breast pretreatment conferences for CME
