Medicus is working with a hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, with an opening for a skilled Pathologist to provide locum coverage.
Opening Highlights:
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts
- 1:5 rotating call during evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Volume: 25-30 reads per day
- Setting: Hospital-based pathology lab
- Clinical Lab Responsibilities: Electrophoresis pathology interpretation and hematology differential review
- Anatomical Pathology Procedures: Surgical, GI, GU, neuropathology, hematopathology (bone marrow, lymph nodes), interpretation of bone marrow aspirate/bx, cytology
- Clinical Pathology Procedures: hematology, microbiology, chemistry/serology, blood bank
- Supervision of other providers required
- EMR: Epic
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
