Schedule
- Monday - Friday
- 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Call Schedule: Weekly (alternate week), start at Friday 5:00 pm, finish at next Friday 8:00am
Clinical Details
- Hospital based
- 35-50 Case reads per day (split by 2 pathologists)
- Lab holds CLIA certification
- Supervise clinical laboratory, need AP/CP certified pathologist
- Responsible for Grossing Own Specimens
- Cutting Own Frozen Sections on the Cryostat
- Other Pathologists Be Present
- Type of Cryostat: Thermo Shandon
- Type of Microscope: Nikon
- Method of Preparation: Cytospin
Requirements
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible
- Active MI state license
- COVID Vaccination
- Minimum of 2 weeks per month availability
- Must be able to take call
- Required Anatomic Pathology Procedures: Surgical Pathology, GI Pathology, GU Pathology, Neuropathology, Dermatopathology, Hematopathology (Bone Marrow, Lymph Nodes) Interpretation of Bone Marrow Aspirate/bx, Cytology, Autopsy
- Required Clinical Pathology Procedures: Hematology, Microbiology, Chemistry/Serology, Blood Bank
Call
- Call Ratio: every other week
