**Position Details**
- A leading private pathology practice in Dayton, Ohio, is seeking full-time pathologists to join our evolving team.
- We are the largest private pathology group in the region, consisting of 13 pathologists, and provide services to a 900+ bed Level 1 trauma hospital, multiple regional hospitals, independent GI/GU/Heme labs, and a large outreach clinical laboratory.
- Exclusive providers for Premier Health Partners and CompuNet Clinical Laboratories.
- Our practice features a robust Hematopathology department, advanced immunohistochemistry, and performs molecular studies, including FISH and PCR, for both hematologic and solid tumors.
- We collaborate closely with radiology for CT/US guided biopsies in the work-up of malignancies.
**Position Details**
- Handle surgical pathology cases, frozen sections, and quick assessments/immediate reads (including CT and US guided biopsies, navigational lung biopsies, EBUS, and EUS).
- Cytopathology responsibilities include pap smears, non-gyns, and FNAs.
- Clinical laboratory duties involve interpretation of peripheral blood smears, hemoglobin electrophoresis, SPEP, and UPEP.
- Call responsibilities include frozen sections and general clinical laboratory duties.
- Medical directorships and sign-out responsibilities are rotated across various locations.
- Participate and present cases at multispecialty conferences, including those focused on breast, lung, head and neck, neurooncology, gynecologic oncology, and hepatobiliary oncology, as well as general tumor boards.
- Active involvement in hospital committees throughout the Premier Health system.
**Position Requirements**
- AP/CP Board Eligible/Board Certified
- Must hold or be eligible for an Ohio medical license
- US citizenship or permanent resident status required
