**Pathologist opening in Davenport, Iowa**
Located in the Quad Cities
**About the Opportunity:**
- Full-time, permanent
- Seeking a full-time board certified/eligible Pathologist trained in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
- The candidate would join a collegial group of 6 general, hospital-based Pathologists and 2 Pathology Assistants who oversee two community hospitals and several critical access hospitals.
- The caseload is a mixture of biopsies, complex resections and non-GYN cytology. No GYN cytology is performed.
- Frozen section coverage and attendance of fine needle aspirations for adequacy assessment is required.
- Autopsies are rarely performed.
- No specific subspecialty training is required, however cytopathology or GI training would be looked upon favorably.
**Requirements:**
- Must be BC/BE
- The ideal candidate will have good communication and interpersonal skills and value good relationships with our clinical colleagues.
- A willingness to participate in clinical lab management and multidisciplinary tumor boards is a must
