Ascension St. Mary's Hospital is looking for a full time locum to start immediately! Temps will be approved!




  • Coverage Location (Facility Name, City, State): Ascension St. Mary's Hospital, Saginaw, Michigan
  • Practice Setting (Free-Standing Pathology Lab/Hospital-Based Pathology Lab): Hospital based
  • Reason for Coverage: Gap in coverage, as other pathologist is leaving for another opportunity
  • Dates of Coverage: Starting the end of June, ongoing
  • Schedule (Shifts and Hours): Mon through Fri., 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Call Schedule: Weekly (alternate week), start at Friday 5:00 pm, finish at next Friday 8:00am
  • Call Ratio: every other week
  • What Type(s) of Certification Does Your Laboratory Hold (CLIA, CAP, etc.)?CLIA
  • Approx. Number of Cases Read Per Day: 35-50
  • What Will Be the Locum Tenen Physician’s Responsibility for the Clinical Lab (Blood Bank, etc.)?Yes supervise clinical laboratory, need AP/CP certified pathologist
  • Will the Locum Provider Be Responsible for Grossing Their Own Specimens? Yes
  • Will the Locum Provider Be Cutting Their Own Frozen Sections on the Cryostat? Yes

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Board Certified/Truly Board Eligible
MI license at time of submission- Highly preferred
