Hospital-based Pathology Opportunity Available Immediately in Michigan
-Offering competitive compensation (1099/Locums), paid travel, and complimentary professional liability coverage.
-ASAP Start/Temp Privileges Available
-Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
-Call coverage rotates every other week
-CLIA Certified Lab
-35-50 cases a day
-Support includes four Histotechnologists, one pathologist.
-Scope of Services:
Required Anatomical Surgical Pathology, GI Pathology, GU Pathology, Neuropathology, Dermatopathology, Hematopathology (Bone Marrow, Lymph Nodes) Interpretation of Bone Marrow Aspirate/bx, Cytology, Autopsy. No GYN Cytology. Supervise Blood Bank. Need AP/CP Certification. Grossing own specimens and cutting frozen sections on the cryostat.
-Required Clinical Pathology Procedures: Hematology, Microbiology, Chemistry/Serology, Blood Bank
- Equipment/Technology consists of Thermo Shandon Cryostat, Nikon Microscope, Cytospin preparation.
Qualifications

-Board Certified or Board Eligible (still within 5 years of completed training)
