Pathology Opportunity in New Jersey - Between NYC & Philadelphia!!
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Medical Center is seeking a Pathologist to join the Practice, with duties in both anatomic and clinical pathology (AP/CP).
Medical Center is a member hospital of the University Health System. The Hospital maintains medical student rotations, and residencies in internal medicine and surgery from the Medical School.
Responsibilities:
As a practicing pathologist at the hospital, the candidate will have responsibilities in the routine sign-out of pathology cases, including general surgical pathology, frozen sections, non-gyn cytopathology, and bone marrow examinations (in association with a board certified hematopathologist). The pathologist will also have involvement in the general clinical laboratory.
Requirements:
Minimum requirements include board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology (or Canadian equivalent). Experience in general surgical pathology is required. Clinical pathology consultative skills are required, and applicants with experience in the practice of hematopathology are preferred.
