Pathologist opening in Cooperstown, NY Located in the Foothills of the Adirondack and Catskill Mountains 75 miles from Albany, NY; 190 miles from NYC Position Details:

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Hospital employed
  • AP/CP Pathologist
  • Academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University
  • NYS COQ strongly desired.
  • Replace a retiring member of an established group of five pathologists covering the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology needs of the entire integrated network.
  • Primary duties are anatomic pathology sign-out.
  • General practice including minor teaching responsibilities and directorship of outlying network laboratory.
  • Approximately 18,000 surgical cases and 10,000 Cytopathology cases examined annually with the support of Pathologists Assistants and Cytotechnologists
