The Department of Pathology is currently recruiting for a full time team- oriented faculty member with board certification in anatomic and clinical pathology to participate in surgical pathology, cytopathology, and autopsy pathology. The opening is for an assistant/associate/ full professor on a clinician track. Subspecialty in GI or breast pathology is desired, but not required.
The Division of Anatomic Pathology handles about 17,000 surgical and 4,500 cytology cases a year and it is expanding rapidly. Molecular/ next generation sequencing, cytogenetics, immunohistochemistry, FISH, and electron microscopy laboratories are part of the sophisticated menu of tests available. The Department has a combined residency training program in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. The opportunity offers a competitive compensation package, relocation, great benefits and more.
