The Pathology locum tenens opportunity in North Carolina….
-Duration: 2022 with potential to extend
-Location: Southern North Carolina (1 hour from Fayetteville)
-Schedule: 7-8 weeks per year, 1-2 weekends per month
-Shift: Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm
-Call: Weeknight and weekend when on assignment. Volume is “practically none”
-Scope: Clinical and Anatomical Pathology
-Volume: 18-20 surgical specimens per day
-Cases: Mostly GI and GYN. Some breast, liver and prostate biopsies. Other miscellaneous cases. Colon resections, hysterectomy. 1-2 Frozens a month. Virtually 0 evening or weekend frozen. No cytology. No Bone Marrows
-EMR: EPIC
-Hospital: 105 beds
-Required: Active North Carolina license, Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology,
