Annashae Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pathologist to join our medical team for 6 to 8 weeks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pathology and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This role involves diagnosing diseases by examining tissues, cells, and bodily fluids, as well as collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans. The Pathologist will play a crucial role in patient assessment and contribute to the overall health outcomes of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of tissue samples and bodily fluids to diagnose diseases.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to discuss findings and recommend treatment options.
- Perform autopsies when necessary, documenting findings accurately.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of diagnoses, treatments, and patient interactions.
- Participate in telehealth consultations as needed to provide expert opinions remotely.
- Stay updated on advancements in pathology and related medical fields, including sleep medicine and pain medicine.
- Provide education and training to medical staff regarding pathology practices.
Skills
- Proficient in patient assessment techniques with a strong emphasis on detail-oriented analysis.
- Experience with IV infusion procedures is beneficial.
- Familiarity with pediatric critical intensive care practices is an advantage.
- Knowledge of working within nursing home environments or Level II Trauma Centers is preferred.
- Strong understanding of pathology principles and practices.
- Ability to apply aseptic techniques consistently in all clinical settings.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Adaptability to utilize telehealth technologies for patient consultations.

Pay: $6,000.00 - $6,600.00 per week
Expected hours: 40 per week
