Job Title: Forensic Pathologist

Support Staff: 2 other Physicians on staff

Schedule Details: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Work Details:

• Facility Type: Medical Examiner’s Office
• Practice Setting: Medical Science Building
• EMR/Charting Software: Epic
• Reason for Need: Backlog of cases
• Avg. Daily Census: 5-15 cases
• Patient Age Group: Adults
• Procedures: Forensic and non-forensic autopsy cases
• Equipment: Recently updated morgue
• Other: Provider is NOT required to gross their own specimens or cut their own frozen sections on the cryostat

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct forensic and non-forensic autopsies
• Document findings in the EMR (Epic)
• Collaborate with medical and administrative staff to ensure timely case management
• Participate in departmental meetings and case review
