Cytopathologist
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cytopathologist to join our team. The Cytopathologist will be responsible for examining cellular samples to diagnose diseases and provide accurate pathology reports.
Duties
- Analyze cellular samples to detect abnormalities or diseases
- Interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to determine treatment plans
- Utilize various laboratory techniques and equipment for sample analysis
- Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and regulations
Job Responsibilities
Required:
- Medical degree with specialization in pathology
- Board certification in Anatomic Pathology and Cytopathology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in diagnosis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Qualifications
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in fine needle aspiration (FNA) procedures
- Familiarity with digital imaging and telepathology systems
