Pain / Interventional Physician Opportunity in North Carolina
IMMEDIATE NEED DUE TO FACILITY EXPANSION.
Seeking a BE/BC Interventional Pain Physician (anesthesiology and/or PM&R background) for a well-established facility that is a thriving community located in the Sandhills region of southeastern North Carolina. Only 45 min to Raleigh!
POSITION DETAILS

The qualified candidate will be expected to perform a minimum of 50 to 70 procedures per week

Practice also has an on-site High Complexity Lab
-
Must be comfortable prescribing chronic opiate therapy
-
Supervision of Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners required
-
Will be required to market practice to referring physicians and attend marketing events occasionally

The qualified candidate will perform New Patient, Follow-up, Procedure, and Telehealth visits
-
The position will require extensive experience doing Lumbar and Cervical Epidurals, Facet Injections, and Radiofrequency Ablations
-
Other procedures include Nerve Blocks, Joint/Bursa, Spinal Cord Stimulation trials, Kyphoplasty, and PRP
-
Will be expected to take after-hours calls only on occasion

No hospital call or rounds
-
The call is 2nd call and consists of a few phone calls a week

Monday – Friday 8-5, no weekends

No credentials at the hospital are required

Comp range is negotiable with a Sign-on bonus and relocation available
