Pain Management opening in Macon GA Full time, permanent Position Details: Case Assignments Medial branch blocks, facet joint injections, sacroiliac joint injections, epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, discography, peripheral nerve stimulation, spinal cord stimulation, vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty, prolotherapy, disc regenerative therapy, peripheral joint injections and trigger point injections. Shifts Goal is to be open Monday Friday. No weekends, no call and see an average volume of at least 25-28 patients/day. Possible anesthesia coverage while practice is growing to 5 days week (no anesthesia call). Details: $375,000 / Year Patient consultations and follow-up evaluations Coordination of care with other community physicians and health care providers Pharmacologic management of pain and related conditions Spinal and peripheral interventional procedures and injections guided by ultrasound and fluoroscopy Eagerness to develop new patient referrals and community awareness of our services Commitment to helping all parts of our organization succeed Trial procedures for neurostimulation Teaching, mentoring, and supervising mid-level practitioners Providing hope, compassion, and sound medical advice to our patients and our community Qualified candidates must have completed a fellowship in pain management. We prefer physicians who are boarded in Anesthesiology; however, we also may consider board certification in Neurology (depending on additional/previous pain management practice experience). There could also be opportunities to work with our anesthesia partners while ramping up the clinic. Requirements M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine Completion of approved residency in anesthesia or neurology Completion of Pain Management fellowship Currently licensed as a physician Collaborate with other providers and leadership to maintain a comprehensive approach to patient care. Interpret and explain imaging (X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, etc.) and test results in order to identify patient conditions, recommend appropriate treatments, and provide plan of care details. All candidates must be able to demonstrate familiarity and/or proficiency in the list of case assignments previously mentioned.
