Job Title: Interventional Pain Management Physician (PM&R or Anesthesiologist)

Location: Monroe, LA

Job Summary:
Our client in Monroe, LA, is seeking an experienced or newly trained Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our dedicated team. This position is ideal for a PM&R or Anesthesiology-trained physician who is passionate about delivering exceptional care to patients dealing with chronic pain. Position Details:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with an hour lunch break and a half-day on Fridays.
  • Call: On-call rotation with minimal call volume. Nurse Practitioners handle first-line calls, and call-ins are extremely rare.
  • Start Date: Available immediately
  • Type of Hire: Contract-to-hire or direct placement.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform interventional pain management procedures such as epidural injections, nerve blocks, spinal cord stimulator trials, and more.
  • Evaluate and treat patients with chronic and acute pain, tailoring treatment plans to individual needs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of providers, including Nurse Practitioners, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and comply with medical policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in PM&R or Anesthesiology.
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent clinical and procedural skills.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and improving quality of life.

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $450,000 to $550,000 annually (based on experience).
