Interventional Pain Medicine Job Opportunity in Carbondale, IL Full- Time We are located in an outdoor paradise with great schools and a friendly community. Interventional Pain Medicine Physicians are needed for the evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with non-procedural pain (i.e., chronic and cancer pain). Position Requirements: - Completed an ACGME accredited Residency training program in Neurology or Anesthesiology - An ACGME accredited Fellowship training program in Pain Medicine of at least twelve months duration, OR - In lieu of formal Pain Management training, candidates should have spent at least the last two years practicing pain management - Current certification in Pain Medicine by the applicable ABMS board (must achieve board certification within five years of eligibility) - Documentation of provision of pain medicine services (50 cases) representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous year (waived for applicants who completed training during the previous year) Highlights of the Opportunity: - Hospital employed position - Interventional focus with a balanced work week divided between procedural and clinic days - Competitive salary based on WRVU - Sign-on bonus - Student loan assistance - Moving expenses covered - Paid CME days with an allowance - System-wide Epic EMR - Highly successful J1/H1 placements - Large referral base The Healthcare group is the largest not-for-profit healthcare system and the leading provider of charity care and community benefits in Southern Illinois.
