Job Title: Interventional Pain Management Physician
Location: Somerset County, New Jersey
Employment Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday (No Weekends)

Healthcare United is seeking a Fellowship-Trained Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our growing multidisciplinary team. This position offers a great opportunity to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care across Central New Jersey.

Job Details:

  • Patient Evaluation & Diagnosis: Diagnose patients with acute and chronic pain, creating personalized, integrated treatment plans.
  • Multidisciplinary Care: Collaborate with surgeons, PM&R physicians, physical therapists, acupuncturists, and chiropractors to deliver comprehensive pain management.
  • Procedures & Interventions: Perform basic and advanced interventional pain procedures (e.g., ESI, MBB, RFA, SCS/PNS implants, Kyphoplasty, Intracept) using fluoroscopy or ultrasound.
  • Medication Management: Prescribe and manage medications while monitoring for efficacy and side effects.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on treatment plans, self-care techniques, and lifestyle changes for long-term pain management.
  • Medical Records: Maintain accurate medical records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on advancements in pain management techniques and engage in professional development.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with colleagues to continually improve patient care and pain management services.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certification in Pain Medicine or Anesthesiology with a subspecialty in Pain Management.
  • Valid New Jersey Medical License.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate bedside manner.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience (including fellowship) in both basic and advanced interventional pain procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and within a high-performing, collaborative team.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
