St. Luke s Health System in Boise, ID is actively seeking an experienced and visionary Pain Management Medical Director to lead the development of a comprehensive pain program to better serve patients in our community.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who is looking to blend a clinical practice with leadership in building and shaping an innovative pain management program.

Position Highlights:

  • 10+ hours per month of administrative medical directorship responsibilities

Ideal candidates will be board certified in pain medicine and demonstrate leadership skills and experience in program development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency and training in advanced pain management procedures is required which includes Spinal Cord Stimulator Placement, Peripheral Nerve Stimulation including placement with ultrasound guidance. Preferred experience with Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression and Multifidus Muscle Stimulation Treatment and Rehab as well as Basivertebral Nerve Ablation. Skilled in Fluoroscopic and Ultrasound-guided injections. Experience with outcomes measurement and analysis also helpful. Academic experience a plus.
