Position Overview: The Pain Management Physician will be responsible for evaluating patients, managing pain treatment plans, and performing necessary procedures at our ambulatory surgery center. This position requires availability to see patients at various locations and perform procedures as needed.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients presenting with pain-related conditions, develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Procedures: Perform pain management procedures in the ambulatory surgery center, including but not limited to injections, nerve blocks, and other interventional techniques.
Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physical therapists, and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Referrals: Refer patients to other specialists or for advanced diagnostic studies and treatments as required.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and outcomes in electronic health records.
Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards in the performance of medical procedures and patient care.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Board Certification: Board certification in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in pain management with a strong background in performing interventional procedures.
Licensing: Active medical license in New York.
Skills: Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in electronic health record systems.
