SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00am to 5:00pm
- No Weekends
- No Evenings
- No Holidays


COMPENSATION:
- $400,000 to $450,000 Guaranteed Annual Income

COMPANY PROFILE:
Since 1996, this premier interventional practice has been providing personalized pain management services to individuals suffering from chronic pain. Their compassionate team of specialists are dedicated to helping improve the lives of patients through innovative therapies and non-surgical solutions in a comforting environment. They currently boast a team of 7 pain medicine physicians and 7 advanced practice providers. They are hiring due to growth.


POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position plays a vital role in the local community, helping patients with the ability to function pain-free and have an excellent quality of life. The services of the practice include, but are not limited to:

- evaluation and pain mapping
- discogram
- epidural steroid injections
- nerve blocks
- rhizotomy
- PRP therapy
- vertebroplasty
- kyphoplasty
- percutaneous discectomy
- peripheral nerve field stimulation
- lysis of adhesions
- spinal cord stimulation

Physicians begin by seeing 8 to 12 patients per day and increase their volume to an average of 20 to 24 patients per day. Visits are supported by trained clinical assistants.

The practice performs procedures under conscious sedation and the new physician must be able to work in that capacity. While anesthesiology training is preferred, physicians with PM&R and neurology backgrounds may be qualified dependent upon experience and training.

Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

- evaluation and treatment of patients
- care plan development
- prescribing and ordering medication
- interventional pain management procedures
- spinal cord stimulator (SCS) trials and implants

The practice uses the Modernizing Medicine EHR.

On-call duties are shared evenly among nearly 20 physicians, leading to on-call rotation only being 2 or 3 times per year.


REQUIREMENTS:
- Texas medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible, Anesthesiology / PM&R / Neurology
- ability to supervise conscious sedation
